We have returned.....holy cow! what a unbelievable experience. We totally took the place by storm. Almost unable to pay for a drink we were wined and dined for free, even the bars would ask us in for free drink...and the hotel.

We performed above and beyond the call of duty, doing shows on the day we were supposed to be acclimatising and I was asked to narrate for a local horse display team which started late leaving me to entertain an audience of several hundred people for about 15 mins on my lonesome....like Martyn says, its what I do

We lead the parades, and the last one was emotional just so cool to walk the streets in kit with the whole town clapping and cheering. we slow marched in step with me calling commands every now and then to reverse the swords and hold them like a cross. Or to "eyes right, or left" at some relevant moment. The local guys who dressed up with mail and cloaks held us in awe, and told us how proud they were to march with us????? our hearts were swelling in pride to be part of this amazing event.

Everyone wants us back next year, and we hope to do it bigger. So those of you we asked that couldn't make it this year, we hope to make you part of the team for next year.
