Battle of the Ages

Postby Nerva on Tue May 19, 2009 4:29 pm

Salvete Omnes!

Well it looks like we have a go for Battle of the Ages. We're looking at the August bank holiday week end. I'll keep you all up to date with developments over the next two weeks.

Excellent Martin,

I am looking forward to it already. Can you do anything about the weather, I think i remember a Sun dance of yours :-)

I have a group from France interested in coming along - so should be fun. They re-enact FFL.

Talk soon
Kindest Regards,

Salvete Omnes!

Great stuff Con, that would be great. Sorry about that Panda, but August is a real bugger, something on every week-end and I now know we'll be clashing with three other events. I had to plan it around the lads dates in the UK to make sure they could make it over, and then we're back on the ferry to support them the following week-end at Beeston Castle gladiator display...hectic...

Well, thanks for enlightening me. Unfortunately though, due to the current economic climate and the actual climate (i.e. pissing rain all the time) anything I can't drive to I've got to give a miss. Nothing to do with anything ,but is the weather getting anyone else down? I'm starting to feel like I don't want to go anywhere.
