Hello and welcome to Livinghistory.ie 8-)
"The Kaiser knows the Munsters,
by the Shamrock on their caps,
And the famous Bengal Tiger, ever ready for a scrap,
And all his big battalions, Prussian Guards and grenadiers,
Fear to face the flashing bayonets of the Munster Fusiliers."

That's be Morgan Llewellyn. She also wrote some interesting novels on Brian Boru, Grainne Mhaol, and the Cu Chulainn/Morrigan angle from the Tain.

Welcome to the forum.

If you're interested in starting a 1916/Old IRA group, then I suggest that you contact "Bannerman" thru this forum. He's one of the most knowledgeable people I've met on this subject and he' s always willing to help out others.
God Bless Dixie,
