Looking for belts to buy

Postby Faye on Sat Jan 31, 2009 2:00 pm

Hello everyone,

This is probably a long shot, but has anyone got 3 belts that they would like to sell?
Its for a production of "Macbeth", and the director told me she wants;
"Medieval belts, long at the front".
We'd need them on or before 11th February for a dress rehearsal.
If anyone has or could make these, that would be great. :P

Do you have any pictures of what you want or something similar? What thickness, material etc? Depending on what you wanted, I might be able to do it for you..

Not sure. I haven't done much work with leather (being a veggie, it causes dilemmas..). The belt seems quite thick, and that kinda leather isn't easy to come by. I've just recycled old coats from charity shops..Try http://www.patmcgann.com, costume makers/sellers in Limerick.
