Sorry, but I get a little melencoly this time of the year (a few Jameson's and a few porters doesn't help either!), but four years ago I lost my last serviving son just at this time of the year. Ian had a deep interest in Irish and Scottish History and an interest in Living History, as you can see in the image of us below. He never got a chance to go to Ireland, and I'm sure he would have loved it. He was twenty-eight years old when he took his own life. He had never recovered from the loss of his younger brother in a car accident a few years earlier (also during the hollidays). They were "Irish Twins", as they say here in the States, being born within a year of each other. God rest your soul Ian and my som Aaron.

I am on the left, my son Ian is on the right.

Greetings my friends.

Dear Scott.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of both of your sons. Words fail me. Please know that you also have a re-enactment family here thinking of you at this time. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
