Do Dhia Daoibh!

Postby Bandraoi on Tue Sep 02, 2008 5:34 pm

Hey to all who know me, and those who don't...

Thought I'd say hi here as well as blether on about Kilmallock

Lora Uí Bhriain 's ainm dom, ó Baile Átha Cliath ach i mo gconaí i gCruachan, Ros Comáin ansin. (Lora O'Brien, in Roscommon; for the non Gaels among us)

Been involved in Irish history, archaeology, mythology, spirituality, and even a lil bit of costumery, for many a year now, so I know some of you of old *waves* Looking forward to getting to know some of you even better *waves arís*

Kilmallock 08 was my first event, loved it (thanks to Marion, for the invite), and I'm already looking forward to Magnus Barelegs. He was betrayed by the O'Brien, right?!

Ms. O'Brien Welcome to the boards.
Thanks also for posting the the Mogh Roith website. We were at Kilmallock also. Beth was in the tent with Mel and I was one of the white chimneys for the weekend.
If you ever end up back in East Clare and want to do real Gael then do look us up!
(Bill is one of ours BTW)

I will be back in East Clare on a regular enough basis, couple of times a year for a wee visit at least. I'll have to check out the 'real Gael' action in the Dal gCais homelands, of course ;)

Bill, this may be a stupid question, but why you call me that?!

I didn't notice any small, ugly, old gits! All I saw was a field full of energetic warriors in interesting kit of various time periods

Nerva wrote: (In the 'TRAIN THE TRAINER' thread) I think your probably right about Leitrim, and that will most likely cover any training need left. Will you be 'sharing' you big tent at Frans as well. Can I share it too

Steady on lad. I'm thinking it's certainly not up to Jayne who gets to share a tent with any of us LADIES, who may or may not be carrying concealed weaponry about our person... some of us may or may not even need weaponry

Of course, if you meant to share his tent just with him, well... we'll leave that between yourselves. ;)

n'fheadar an "fáilte" an téarma ceart uaim duit, ach is dócha go mbeadh sé níos cheart dom "(do) dhia dhuit" a rá ina háit.
Mar sin, "(do) Dhia/déithe dhuit, a Bhandraoi" agus b'fheidir go mbualfaimid lena chéile níos déanaí sa saol seo.
