I've no experience with the John Barnett bastkethilt broadsword. But we do love the broad swords of Armour Class. they are flexible and weighs about 900 grams. Sometimes we have broadswords in stock, for that I send the link to our website. http://www.celticwebmerchant.com/c-306464-3/sabels/
