The IMVG Swords Military Show

Postby jenny102 on Sun May 22, 2011 6:24 pm

The Irish Military Vehicles Group is delighted to announce our annual show, which this year will be a one day event being run in aid of a relevant local charity.

We plan to set up on the Saturday with a BBQ for all taking part on the Saturday night alongside a 1940's themed evening with music and dancing.

The show will be open to the public on Sunday 7th August from 10am until 6pm.

All those wishing to take part please contact Ken Blair on 087 6872389

Colm,

As you know we recently lost some members to a new club who are running an event at the end of August called Salute. As a result the IMVG cancelled their planned Salute show for the 6th and 7th.

As we had the show centre already booked we decided to run a one day event for charity. We will confirm which charity as soon as we can.

Hope you guys can make it.

Jennifer

We are pleased to formally announce that the charity that will benefit from our show is the "Leopardstown Park Hospital".

We are hoping to have some of the WW11 veteran's there on the day.

Less than two weeks to the show now.

All going according to plan and the IMVG are looking forward to it immensely.

We would invite all those attending to get involved in the arena in some way over the course of the day too.

Can all groups attending please contact me by PM to give us some idea of space needed. Let me know any other requirements you may have and we will do our best to accomodate.

Again looking forward to seeing everyone and raising some much needed funds for Leopardstown Park Hospital.
