Yew longbow: €40 (or highest bid by the time I get my new bow in July)
12thC face helm: Would suit knights hospitaller, as new. Cost £90, will sell for €120 o.n.o
Viking hood: €20 (charcoal & white square hood, lined, split in front, suitable for 500CE-1400CE)
Heater shields: €90 indestructable plywood rawhide & linen covered shields, combat-hardened. Just need straps, which I'll put on to whatever angle you want. Ready for painting.

The bow is here; http://picasaweb.google.com/kate.a.ward ... 3795874882

I think it's around 40lb, though I've never measured it. I've been told by Carl Geoghan that if it was put up on a tiller, or exercised a lot, it would likely come back to around 35lb again. It's mainly stiff from not being used much. Where are you based ? If you are down Cork way, Aislinn Collins has a bow made by the same guy, of the same vintage and could give you a review.

There is a reason it's cheap - it's not a great bow. But, it works, and works well. Hence me upgrading!

I don't think I'll be at Duncannon, unfortunately. Family commitments have me limited to an event a month at the moment.

Oh, here is another item I have; custom forge-made 14th/15thC Gallowglass helmet. It cost the original purchaser £250, I had agreed to pay €250 for it. Very strong, perfect helmet really...except that it's a little too small for me+arming cap+mail coif. I have a very-slightly-larger-than-medium head. There is no webbing/strapping.

Might also do those doing Elven reenactment :)

I might be wrong but I think that you will find that the that is more typical of early numenorean than "elven"

It's here. Note, it needs some work to make it *perfect*. But it's light, cheap, and a good base for many customizations.
