Elizabeth Fort Museum Update...

Postby EFM on Fri May 07, 2010 8:05 pm

Hello all,

The museum is open again this week end on both Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4:30pm. There will be an expanded Garda exhibit and we will be displaying a copy of the Irish Proclamation of Independence (2 Page) from 1916 - Padraig, maybe we could get your opinion on this document at some stage, we have it on loan from a private Garda collection. There will be exhibits of Irish war of independence and WWI, a Hiberno-Norse and Anglo-Norman exhibit and an expanded Romano-Celt exhibit for this week end, all in addition to the exhibit on the history of Elizabeth Fort itself, all staffed by volunteers.

It's all free so why not come along and support the Museum, Elizabeth Fort and Barracks Street.
