Looking for replica 19thC repeater..

Postby the_power on Tue Oct 13, 2009 6:00 pm

Hey guys. I'm looking to make myself a mare's-leg; not for reenactment, more for non-reenactor fancy dress.

Anyone know where I could get something like; http://www.cimarron-firearms.com/Repeat ... Model.htm# locally ? I want to modify the stock & barrel myself, so it could be held in a thigh-holster.

John,

I've been doing 19th century American West, Living History for about 20 years now. There is a "Boat Load" of crap out there on the market today, with the advent of 'Single Action Shooting' groups throughout the US. Send me a PM and let me know what your looking for, as I can send you many good sources.

PS: Nice choice with Cimmeron firearms! I think Uberti in Italy makes them and they are spot on! I own their Henry Rifle and M1876 Single Action Colt. Real Beauties!
