I just thought I would ask the question on everyones lips. Is Salute all steam ahead? Its very quiet out there about it. Ye should be all enthusing about it as its so near the event.
Regards.

Nae bother Mock, I hope you are putting all the midland ww1 archives I gave you together in a coherent/specific way. I have some more for you to mull through and will bring them with me. The Leinsters should be well covered for the ww1 period and maybe we might have a book on it from yis in the future? There was some talk of a Birr man doing something on them and the work is ongoing.. Where have I heard of that type of thing before. Evil flourishes where good men do nothing. The time for talk is past. Go on, you know you want to. You have all you need to do it, I am expecting great things from ye and know I wont be disappointed. 2014 is really not that far away, y'know.
I look forward to buying ye a pint or two.
Regards.
Tom.

Salute!
The live military vehicle & multi-period re-enactment show returns to the National Show Centre, Swords.

The IAA will be there to promote the sport of Airsoft as we have done in the past with an IAA information stand and a shooting range. The information stand will feature AEGs on display and be staffed by committee members and other volunteers, discussing airsoft with members of the public and giving out information leaflets. The shooting range will allow people a chance to get hands on and do some shooting with an AEG.

Salute is happening this weeken 29th and 30th of August - I don't know where any rumours are starting that this has changed from the first time I posted it in the Events calendar !!

It is on at the National Show Centre, Swords, Co. Dublin from 10am to 6pm on both days. Most reenactors and vehicle owners will be setting up on Friday and there will access to the grounds all day. There will be a barbeque for all on the Saturday evening.

Once again it is all systems go. Looking forward to a fantastic weekend and to seeing all of you once again.
