Postby knightofredemption on Fri Jul 03, 2009 5:45 pm

As promised, some further details for the Carrigtwohill Medieval Festival and Country Fair 2009:

This festival will take place on the weekend 18th/19th July 2009, and the show will start at 11.00am, and finish at 5.30pm each day.

Although it is billed as medieval, it has developed more of a multi-period theme, and there will be participants portraying Roman, Viking, Norman, early and late medieval,ww2 and of course a 13th century joust

For anyone who would like to attend, there will be travel expenses and a meal on the Saturday night

More details, to follow soon.

Thanks a lot for the link, was already looking for the irishtimes ones some days ago...
Note the last one, that's what I call an emancipated Irishman :D
No, they are all really great, really nice compositions, quite artistic.

does anybody else have pics? We have some, where should we post them here on the forum?

your best bet is to put them up on an external photo site and link to them from a post here.
As a general rule event posts are deleted a short time after the event so if you go to the trouble of loading them here they will be lost once that happens
