i was wondering whats the revised date for batle of the ages. i know you were hopeing for august but ive head notting yet.

Colm, the venue is still proving to be a problem. Cork corporation have still not taken posession of the showgrounds and Ballincollig park is out because we are not allowed bring vechicles onto the field, although we're working on that. We have agreed a location and a sponsor for next year. This year looks like being a non vechile show run in September and run under the umbrella of the Assembly of Irish Re-Enactors with those groups attending. The Lord Mayor has offered us two locations but none are ideal as we have been offered a substantial WWII vehicle collection for display by one of the assembly members. But don't worry, when a location and date are agreed you'll be the first to know

Hi Jess. The assembly was an initiative started in January last by Con O'sullivan and we've met 4 times since then. There are 14 groups involved and work on the principle of mutual support and respect. The assembly also offers members inexpensive insurance, traders discounts etc. Drop me a PM if your interested in learning more about what we do.

well that rules us out in going as we are not welcome in the assembly so as its an assembly event we cant go

in as far as i know its open to all.
