The parade was brilliant and all made possible by the goodwill and selflessness of those who put themselves out. A warm THANK YOU to all who managed to make it on the day. I really can understand why some could not be there as the rain was crazy. It stopped for a brief period and the parade went ahead. This parade was made possible because it was not organised by any club or group so there was no bias on anyones part. Everyone that was there came because they wanted to be there. There was a book launch later that evening when the participents came back to Holycross and there was food and drink for all.
To all who participated I thank you once again and if you are having a show and need some support you are in the right place on this forum and I will be the first to volunteer. Many thanks to all the re-enactors and vehicle owners who came from Enniscorthy, Gorey, Dublin, Portlaoise, Mountmellick, Monasterevin, Newmarket-on- Fergus, Limerick, Kerry, Kilkenny, Waterford, Wickow, The Curragh, Louth and Cork.
I have put some images for you all here;

Always in your debt.
