Fianna Fail and Stormont election

Did de Valera run a Fianna Fail candidate in one of the Stormont elections in the 1930s? Does anyone have any details of this, or am I mistaken?

De Valera was elected as an FF candidate in South Down in 1933. I'm guessing he ran on an abstentionist ticket.

Yes, abstentionist I'm sure. The same vague memory, though, drives me to suspect that he did make one constituency visit during the campaign. Any details on this would be welcome.

Have just been given a report from the Irish Independent of 9 Feb 1929:

Mr E de Valera, TD and MP for Co Down in the Northern Parliament, who was arrested on Tuesday last on his way to Belfast to open the Gaelic Bazaar, was sentenced yesterday to a month's imprisonment for violating an order made against him in Sept 1924, prohibiting his entering certain parts of the Six County area.
