Hello,

I would like in Germany at Middle Ages markets, together with my friend Irishmen of 14. - 15 Jhr. explain. What there was for clothing and weapons. What did carry the men and women?

I have already belonged gave the Brat and the Leiné ... a jacket ..., however, what for shoes and trousers was carried.

I would be very glad if to me somebody, besides could help. There are a lot of Scots, however, barely Irishmen in Germany.

Many greetings

Peter / Finley

for shoes you cant go far wrong with http://www.personal.utulsa.edu/~marc-carlson/shoe/SLIST2.HTM
While these are not necessarily correct to the time period you are talking about some variants on these were in use until quite recently. Otherwise, look at contemporary european shoes.

Trousers are a bit trickier

Here a picture of my friend and me. Well, however, is there so properly? A long tunic and the brat?
How it is with a coat of arms or an Irish hat. As I have already got to know there were probably no hats. A cut pattern for a leiné and the jacket would be also very good of course.
