what happened with lagore swords

Postby oldrat on Mon Jun 18, 2012 2:32 pm

Hi guys.We all read "LAGORE CRANNOG :AN IRISH ROYAL RESIDENCE OF THE 7th TO 10th CENTURIES A.D.".
Very intresting - where the swords that he described in his work? may be someone know their fate?

Thanks, but I cannot view it. It only gives me a 1 page preview and says not available for purchase.

Unless you buy a subscriptio to JSTOR, you can't view it. I don't have one either.

Thanks Scott, I probably should break down and buy a subscription one of these days, a lot of my research always leads me to those pages.

From reading the preview looks like we need someone to go to Denmark and take some pictures of their collection. I registered for JSTOR but it still does not give me access to this publication.

So far it is the best place to read about the story and get access to watercolours and related info. Not sure if all the objects are on display.
