Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that the final programme for EMASS 2010 is now available. Please circulate this to colleagues and friends who may be interested in attending, and apologies for any cross posting.

This year's conference covers a wide variety of topics, ranging from identity in early Islamic Spain, to the world-view of Anglo-Saxon England, and medieval ore-mining in Sweden. There is a special focus on new research in early medieval Ireland, and we are plased to announce that keynote papers will be delivered by Dr. Pat Wallace of the National Museum of Ireland, and Dr. Finbar McCormick of Queen's University Belfast and the Early Medieval Archaeology Project. There is also a fieldtrip to early medieval sites of interest in the South Kildare region.

The conference is taking place in University College Dublin, from the 19 May. Registration is available online, through the website, and is now open. There is still space for poster contributions, and if you wish to present a poster, please contact us through the website, or through this email.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Dublin in May,
Best Wishes
The EMASS 2010 Committee
