Last November Mogh Roith were involved in a documentary production called 'Blood of the Irish'. This program will be following the DNA from Africa to Mesolithic Ireland. The trailers are running on RTE but they're not saying when it will air.

Some images of us building the sets are available at my YouTube account at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25jntbLJ-AA

We will post air times when we learn ourselves when that will be .

It was much fun!
We also went the 'extra' mile for them and dressed up to support their actor types. We're likely at the end of the DNA journey so don't know if they'll have us at the end of the shoot or not or throughout. After our shoot the costumes, ours and Montague Heritage services, flew to Kenya (I was told) for the start to the journey. Don't imagine they were wearing all that much leather under the African sun though.

Anyway, watch out for a lot of Native American styled Mesolithic Paddies somewhere along the line.,,like the guy on the right

Dave,

This is very cool! When it airs, I would love to get a DVD of it. Loved your set building on YouTube also. Does "Blood of the Irish" have anything to do with this book or the author?

Oh man Scott! I had actually already written a reply asking the same question - but I lost the internet with a thunderstorm and forgot to post it. That book is called "Blood of the Isles" in the UK. I love it - so informative, yet very well-written.
