I gotta say the best display fights I've done have been against people who I have trained against regularly in the past and whose style of fighting I'm familar with and vica versa. However the REALLY good ones have been those where we have decided the kill shot and opening 2/3 moves and everything else is improvised, in which case there is no risk of forgetting your moves half way through. Or the other really good ones have been the ones where we just go at it but in those cases it against the guys I train against EVERY weekend so we know each other very well and are completely comfortable with fighting each other.
