Re feeding
we will be having tickets for each person attending the show for a big BBQ in the Strand tavern on Sat night for 8 pm That's where all the reenactors will be fed on Saturday night and we will do dinner in the fort Sunday night at 8pm also . Hal has organised a chef to do the food for us and it will be a nice spread for all
Also BOTH fields are in use contrary to malicious rumors by the usual knockers, as in the last 9 shows both fields will be open to trader , groups re -enactors etc etc as we always do . NO CHNAGE THERE .

If anyone needs to know anything or has a question please ring or email me directly on

Cheers all
Joe O Toole

show update

Dinner on Sunday night will be at 8pm and the Fort Conan hotel will be supplying it for us . The dinner will be served in the fort .

Also anyone who has booked in a camper van with me directly has no problems with coming in at night but all vans and civilian vehicles must be out of the square in the morning by 10 am prior to opening . We want the square cleared by then and only military vehicles left in there and displays .

See ye all in two weeks

The sun has set on another Duncannon show for 2014 and what a great show it was .
A big thank you to Joe o Toole and Marian Cody for making the event possible . The weather was very kind to us this year which was a added bonus :D
It was great to meet up with old friends again and chill out , just the way our hobby should be ;)

A big thanks to all who made the 10th anniversary show so special, well done all , fantastic attendance and great to see so many new groups and individuals attending . It certainly was a great show and everyone gave great feedback on it especially the public . 10 reenactments each day and a battle each evening from the WW2 era was a great achievement .
Well done all and thank you .
