Cork City Military Show 2013!

(Cork City Gaol, Sundays Well, Cork City)

Saturday & Sunday August 10th & 11th, 2013.

We are pleased to announce the dates for this year’s Cork City Military Show. The venue is the historic gaol in Cork City, currently a museum http://www.corkcitygaol.com The event will take place within the extensive grounds and perimeter of the gaol.

On display will be military vehicles form all periods up to and beyond WW2. Reenactors from various armies and eras will be in attendance displaying their uniforms, equipment and arms and the Roman Gladiators will be back! Military traders / dealers will be on site for the collector and all manner of items will be for sale including medals, uniforms, helmets, etc.

Once again Thank you to everyone who attended last year and we look forward to another great show.

Each year Cork Military Show supports an Irish charity. This year the event will be supporting the Irish Cancer Society http://www.cancer.ie/. Members of the ICS will be on site to provide advice and information about the work of the charity, and raise much need funds. We sincerely hope you can come along to the event and support the charity and enjoy the re-enactors and displays.

It’s just a little over 5 weeks to the show and we’re finalising layouts etc. If you are planning on coming to the show as a re-enactor or a trader you need to book in so we can plan space. The Gaol is a tight space and it’s already pretty full. I’m afraid you cannot simply turn up on the day and hope to be allowed to set up, if you’re not booked in you will have to go as a spectator.
