THe trench experiance encorporates so much and will rival if not better what is on display anywhere in europe . We hope to give people an insight into what took plalce in the conditions of the trenches .

DDay Normandy experience , a taste of the early days of D- Day landings set in a feench farm house , a display of like in the time under occupation and a magnificent display from with in a farm house involving German SS , Falshirmjaeger , Wehrmacht and American airbourne and British troops in a large setting showing weapons equipment , clothing and as much original and accurate representation as possible .

Also in Phase one we are unveiling the display glass cabinet room where many displays of rare and original equipment and unfiforms of specific nature will be shown , weapons , letters , paperwork , medals , curios , headware , helmets form WW1 WW2 and militaria of the world in conflict will be on display .

This is the phase one project to be followed by phase two between April and June / july incorporating the following:

A room dediacted to the Troubles and peace process of Northern Ireland , Street scenes display form the most iconic pictures we have all seen in book and news footage and an audio visual display and memrobelia of all sorts and uniforms from those years and weapons etc .

An Irish floor dedicated to the Irish fighting here from 1798 - the IRA Flying Colums, Pre treaty -post treaty forces , Civil war - Free state, early defence forces , -80s-90s defence forces and current forces including a UN display of a check point in Lebanon, and a tribute to all who took part and lost lives in foreign parts .We hope to launch this as part of phase 3 in July - September with the museum open fully by then catering for bus tours and large groups .

All welcome on the Friday night for food , refreshments and a look at the work to date . Our guest VIP opening the launch will be announced shortly .
If anyone has any items they feel would be nice to exhibit in any capacity we will be delighted to take them in on LOAN , all items are entered into a journal , valued and agreed value for insurance and can be redeemed in three weeks notice as they remain the property of the donor . I would like to thank all who gave so much to make this happen and realise this project , outsiders insiders members of BGS and all our friends and workers in Duncannon who have gave so much in time and effort to get this far .
Like wise groups who wish to maybe enter a project / display and would like to run an exhibition for 6 months of their theme and period of warfare should contact me as we are more than interested in keeping the displays active and fresh and specialising in different periods will be just what we require
