Battle of Hastings 2012

Is anyone planning on coming over for Hastings this year?

It is on October 13th and 14th and, due to lack of funding, will not be the huge event we had all hoped for. However the hope is for there to be at least a thousand on the field - the interest at present looks like that number will be exceeded.

The Vike appear to be organising as in previous years

great that it is happening at that scale! Not sure yet whether I can make it this year - it looks like a busy one.

Slight amendment to numbers - apparently, it is hoped for 800 to 1000 per side (somewhat bigger than previously thought)

if you are intending to book a hotel room, would seriously advise doing it quickly

The FLHS are running a coach over to this years big Hastings If you would like any Info on the trip and coming over with us just ask here or on face book or if you e-mail us on flhs@hotmail.co.uk
We are looking at brining over about 35 to 40 fighters and all fighting as one big unit.
