well yes, there are a few who have it as their living (or part there of) but very few really in comparison, and I more meant the ones who it is just a hobby to. I think if we could all have reenactment as our jobs, very few would say no lol..
A hard on does NOT count as personal growth...

I'm in this hobby for 13 years now and i only got paid once. A few times I actually even paid to participate in an event (it was absolutely money worth spent! ;) )

I don't need sandwiches or tea, I can organise that myself. What I need is a nice bunch of people and a bit of craic. That is what I do this hobby for.

Ah, the heady days of "fags 'n beer" money! I remember it well!

Just thinking, actually...All the gigs I attended last year, I don't think I was paid for a single one!

There were however, as has been noted, food, craic and toilets!!

And someone was always good enough to light a fire so we could all huddle round after the public left!

Ah, fun! And occasionally alchohol....or am I allowed to say that in public?

Sometimes I wish we would get paid for gigs, at least I would have an excuse to go more often. ;)
