no actually, the joints moved perfectly, probably something to do with the vaguely oily type substance they coated them in for storage

You know we're expecting a complete report AND photographs of your trip. I hope someone took an image of you in original armor!

By the way, a few years ago my museum did an exhibit on swords and armor and borrowed heavily from the Oakshott Institute. They also reproduce weapons, some of the best I've seen, and I was like a kid in the candy store! I wore gloves.
