Here we have a picture of some arrowheads from the War Museum in Thurles. As far as I know the black ones are obsidian and am not sure what type of stone/rock/flint the other one is.
The rules are simple. The first person ( based on the time of their post) who can tell me the origin ( i.e. where they are from) of these arrowheads may have them for free, and no, I did not make them, nor did I have anyone else make them for the Museum.
No clues, no hints. Ya makes your guess and ya takes your chance. One guess per member. Open only to members with 10 posts or more.

"Stone" arrowheads are way before my particular period of interest, but I'll have a go. You are spot on with the black arrowheads, they are made from Obsidian. So I guess the heads are most likely from a region where obsidian is common. Obsidian is essentially volcanicically produced glass. Now, to the best of my knowledge obsidian is not commonly found in Ireland, common locations are Armenia, Canada, Chile, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, Argentina and United States.

I'm purely going to have a guess, and say they're from the "Americas"...

I'd say somewhere in North or South America too. I'll take a stab (haha) at indigenous north American.

TBH, they look like they're from "all that Glisters" or a similar shop, mabye Yellow Brinck Road in dublin... lol...

I reckon tho the "obsidian" ones are actually Apache tear, which IS a type of obsidian, but is actually opaque, hense the light shining thru it.... I should know what the other stone is, but my minds a blank on it...

Hmm, I'll Just say Scotland. But I really have no idea :/

I will hand them to you at the fair today. I purchased them from an Indian reservation shop on ebay about ten years ago.

I suspect, somehow though, they are low on your list of priorities, given the amount of gear ye lads churn out per annum.

Thats a very generous offer and a very good idea However I think you know me very well and hafting these beautiful heads is not an immediate prioroty as we have a number of aquaducts to finish before the end of the year

Seriously though, I think the best place for these is in you're hands, so when we next meet they're yours
