There is something in common with this excavator and a knight-full plater. Apart from colour of course which is in case of the digger is obviously wrong.

Madmen - very entertaining!

(But perhaps this kind of thing, humourous / interesting videos that arent related to living history, would be better posted on facebook rather than on the board if its not strictly relevant?)

Ah Tom - I didnt mean to be a spoil sport.

You post some great information here, accounts of WW1 information about casualties, book launches, links to online resources for doing research - and you are very generous in giving people information and helping with research. I appreciate that you have sent me great newspaper accounts and info. All that is fantastic but I just dont see what point of the clip here - a forum about livinghistory.

I hope havent caused any offence - and coming across as a completely humorless hoor (cause im not) but sometimes it gets hard looking back through the site's to separate the relevant wheat from the more light hearted chaff.

Again Tom I hope I havent caused any offence, that wasnt my intention at all, If I have I regreat it cause I know you are a really good re-enactor , really passionate about history as is shown by your books on the "War Dead" perhaps im overstepping the mark but I just think that a hobby discussion forum wasnt the place for this

All the best

It was off topic so I thought general chat might be the place to put it.
No offence taken in the least Padraig old chap. It was a little thing that was easily remedied. You are still on my newspaper accounts list.
Kind regards.
Tom.
