What the hell are ye all talking about? Braveheart won an oscar... you don't get those free inside a box of rice krispies. The passion of the christ was an excellent film as was apocalypto. He's starred in a few honkers I'll grant you that but as far as directing goes, he's a very brave and inovetive direcor.

Braveheart is hated by the scots and english.. because of all the "wrongness" and bad american acting... Passion was OBESELY over done... and sorry, but I havent been able to get through apocalypto... WAY too boring...

Billy, you got it tho lad, south park was the job! And yea, a lot of people probably will just wathc it out of morbid curiosity... I dont know if I will be one of them tho.. mind you, I did watch pathfinder (really wish I could get that 2hrs of my life back!)..

Outside of Scotland, who the hell even heard of William Wallace before Gibson made his film. He brought international recognition to their national hero and they hate him for it???
