Easter of every odd numbered year one of Australia's reenactment groups, somewhere around the country, hosts our bienniel reenactment conference/convention/conferention in their neck of the woods. It's open to all reenactors who do 17th century and earlier. It's not open to the public. This is where we all get together, set up our camps, show off our new costumes, catch up with friends we don't see otherwise, eat the historical feasts, hang out in the tavern or the Perki Kamaki coffee shop tent, buy or sell stuff at the market, enter the competirions, attend talks and workshops or socialise for 4 days straight. Those of us who can arrive at least a day before and leave the day after. Good "craic".

If any of you know you'll be in Oz over Easter next year and have the time to spare you can turn up and meet all the local nutters. ;) We even get people flying over from Grey Company in Perth.

Who can view this event: Everyone
